The Sidewinder was my first go to PVP hovercraft build and has been evolved as time goes on. We all picked something different as the 'main' in hopes of improving the odds during battle, so I grabbed a Hurricane and set it as low as possible (front facing) and threw a couple of Equalizers on for 'toe to toe' encounters. This episode is from a span of a couple of weeks and features 15 PVP battles (this one is a bit long). Since they're 2 power points each, they do make for a 'complicated crappy hurricane' substitution, and of course don't pack the same power punch. Improved radar and putting the pyres as low as possible in your vehicle atleast gives you a chance to also be effective at a shorter range - to state the obvious. As you know and state, without it you have to be too darn close to the target to get a lock that works with their arc. but then that's essentially just a complicated crappy hurricane isn't it?Īgree about the radar. Download files and build them with your 3D printer, laser cutter, or CNC. Makes me wonder a little bit, because you more or less dont need to aim with pyre. Yes, this weapon is terrible at close range unless you manage to make it shoot straight at the enemy. But 4-6 of those can deal a ton of damage at middle or far distance. I could see them maybe being effective if you had like 6 of them. This content requires the free to play base game Crossout on Steam in order to. lock on 600meters Purple radar puts you in a funny state when your lock distance is bigger than your rocket travel distance. idk why it has what seems to be a laser targeting system on it then, not very intuitive. This episode is from a span of a couple of weeks and features 15 PVP battles (this one is a bit long). My best hurricane build is a goliath tank that has them sideways inside a ton of armor, so it's actually capable of fighting in close quarters. Hurricane is overall a bit less effective, but leaves a lot more room for interesting builds. Originally posted by king(strange)james488:ah ya, radar helped a lot. Pyre is 'better' but mostly good for the classic sidemounted dusk build.
